The Mac terminal is free. Your plan covers cloud workspace time and hosted dictation. Claude Code and Codex access is separate.
Monthly plans
Prices are in USD. Each standard cloud workspace has 2 CPU cores, up to 4 GiB of memory and a 20 GiB project disk.

How cloud hours work
One standard workspace running for one hour uses one cloud hour. Two running for an hour use two. Running time includes time waiting for you; an idle workspace stops automatically after 30 minutes. Stopped workspaces do not consume cloud hours.
Monthly allowances reset and do not roll over. Workspaces can stop when credits run out or an execution time limit is reached. Opening or resuming a workspace requires available capacity; a new cloud host can take a few minutes to start. Larger machine sizes are not currently offered.
Extra usage, when you need it
- 50 cloud hours: $15 USD.
- 150 dictation minutes: $5 USD.
Usage packs require an active paid plan. Pack credits do not expire at the monthly reset and are used after included allowances. Packs add usage, not workspace slots. Murmello does not automatically buy packs when you run out.
What happens to a stopped workspace?
Stopping ends its running processes and keeps its project disk for your plan’s resume window. After that it is archived; after the archive window, it is deleted. Resume an archived workspace before its deletion deadline to restore its files.

Running, stopped and archived workspaces count toward your workspace limit. Use murmello ls <id> to see a workspace’s status and retention dates. Keep a separate copy of important work in Git or on your Mac.
What is billed separately?
Your Claude Code or Codex account, subscription or API usage is supplied by its provider. A Murmello plan does not include those services or remove their usage limits. Sign in to the agent inside a workspace using your own account.
